Safatech Research and Development

It was during the late 1990's and early 2000's that Safatech started to reduce its emphasis on 'consultancy' activities and moved into the research and development of methods and techniques for the management of quality and for the management of certification bodies.

It had become apparent that whilst much emphasis was put industry wide upon 'management' very little attention was given to 'administration'. However, it is in the workplace that the high sounding and impressive edicts of 'management' have to be implemented and this is only achieved via efficient and effective administration. Safatech therefore started to give greater attention not just to management systems but to the way that each element of the system was linked and interacted to the others.

A key principle of the Safatech research was to avoid the use of bespoke software and tools and to use as far as is possible only the most basic of office and computer tools available. The reason for this being that developed methodologies would provide greatest access to the greatest number of people yet requiring the minimum of specialist training.
